A gentle girl Stella who survives with her father and lost her mother from drowning of where they rode a ferry that sanked down in the sea. Until the body of the mother was never found, Stella's father Gerald remarries a cruel and cold woman Victoria Luz  who has a daughter Megan and a son Travis  from her first marriage. When suddenly Stella's father died from liver cancer, then the wicked step mother Victoria turns Stella into a servant in her own house and abuse Stella. The Luz family then continue to mistreat and manipulate Stella which they made her suffer and bring tears for her rest of her life. The twins Megan and Travis dislike Stella's characteristic of politeness and charm and they also disrespect her generousity. Stella tries to show her love and respect to her step family and wishes to have a peaceful life with them.
